Fans of Death Cab will get that reference. I'm so lame, I had that title brewin' for a while since I heard the news of Death Cab For Cutie lead singer Ben Gibbard getting engaged to cutie-pie pixie dream girl Zooey Deschanel. I guess a less darker pun would have been "Gibbard to follow Deschanel into the dark", but that's no fun.
Good for them.
However, will this mean the end of some of Gibbard's bleaker lyrics I've come to enjoy so much? Say what you will about Death Cab, but I have a soft spot for the band and can't help but love those songs. Yes, even the last album grew on me.
It's sad when an artist finds happiness or kicks drugs we worry about the result of future output. But damn...I mean...it's kind of true! The best art really does come from misery.
Anyway. Speaking of Deschanel, I recently heard more of that She and Him album and it's pretty enjoyable. MUUUUUCH better than another actor who's tried the same recently (Not a fan of that album, Scarlet).

I don't understand this union. He ugly. Also, I knew a guy who "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" was his "song" with three sequential ladies. Eeek.
